Description
Gypsum is the most common type of calcium sulfate mineral and is found in several crystalline forms. The gypsum color is naturally white and may be gray, bluish, pink or yellow due to impurities of clay and iron oxide organic matter. It has a monoclinic crystallization system, a specific gravity of 2.32 and a hardness of 1.5 to 2.
